Amina is a passionate legal professional dedicated to advancing women's rights across Northern Nigeria. With a Master of Laws degree and extensive experience in legal advocacy, she has become a leading voice for gender justice in Jigawa State. ## Background Amina completed her undergraduate studies in Law at Bayero University Kano before pursuing her LLM in Human Rights Law. Her early career focused on family law and domestic violence cases, where she witnessed firsthand the barriers women face in accessing justice. ## LMI Fellowship Journey During her LMI Fellowship in Cohort 2, Amina focused on legislative drafting and policy advocacy.
