Bernice A. Abeku is a Geologist and GIS analyst with a wealth of expertise that intersects natural resource governance, sustainable development and public service. Her commitment to fostering positive change drives her advocacy for inclusion and reform in these sectors. Bernice serves as a Country Coordinator for the Green Climate Initiative where she contributes to initiatives addressing climate change and environmental sustainability. She is also the State Coordinator for Women in Mining Nigeria (WIMIN), Kaduna and Board Member for Herability Hub, an NGO focused on empowering women. Her contributions to public service include roles in the Bureau of Public Enterprise and Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State across various MDAs. Currently, Bernice works as Technical Assistant to the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, where she continues to contribute to public administration. Bernice enjoys watching movies and connecting with new people.
