Katherine is a legal Practitioner of five years post call contributing her quota to Nigeria's Justice system where she volunteers with the Legal Aid Council, the Duty Solicitor Network working with Magistrates in the FCT, conducting oversight functions to Detention centers in the FCT and ensuring their compliance with ACJA 2015, result of which several detainees who were neither charged to court nor granted bail where released through this intervention. As a member of the International Federation of Female Lawyers(FIDA) which through its platform, she collaborated with NAPTIP and carried out projects on the epidermis of sexual based violence in the FCT, she also served as a member of the Human rights committee of the NBA(Abuja Branch) where she is a household name. She obtained her bachelor's degree in law from the Ahmadu Bello University as well as her Masters in Constitutional and Human Rights Law from Nasarawa State University. she is an Associate with the Institute of Chattered Mediators and Conciliators and a Technocrat in Human Resource and Project Management. She is passionate about self esteem and good governance.
