Salahuddeen Bello Bala, a Geology graduate from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, started his leadership journey in college, serving in the Student Representative Assembly. He excelled as a full-time volunteer at the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Network Sokoto, rising to State Coordinator for two years. Recognized for his service, he received Signum ad progrediendum from the board. His key achievements include co-founding the Sokoto Goes Green Campaign, planting over 80,000 trees in Sokoto state. He initiated and managed a six-month drug-free club for secondary students, mentoring them in entrepreneurship and drug awareness. Salahuddeen contributed to the creation of an exclusive women's magazine, 'Untold Stories of African Women,' and ventured into entrepreneurship, founding a Social Media tech company offering advertising and consultancy services. As the pioneer social media officer at Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto, he currently serves as Technical Assistant to the Honorable Commissioner for Innovation and Digital Economy, Hon. Bashar Umar Kwabo, in Sokoto state.
