Youth Voter Registration Drive Reaches 50,000
Alumni-led initiative mobilizes young Nigerians for the 2027 electoral cycle, achieving record registration numbers in Northern Nigeria.
The #CivicAdamawa25 campaign, led by LMI Cohort 2 alumni, has successfully registered 50,000 young Nigerians for the 2027 general elections, exceeding its initial target by 25%.
Campaign Origins
Following the success of #RCVAdamawa23 during his fellowship, Jabir Yahya and his team at CITADEL scaled up operations for the 2027 electoral cycle. Recognizing that voter apathy among youth stems from both disengagement and logistical barriers, they designed a comprehensive mobilization strategy.
