Hon. Jabir Yahya

Jabir has been on an unstoppable trajectory since his LMI Fellowship. Building on the success of his #RCVAdamawa23 voter registration initiative, he launched #CivicAdamawa25 — a comprehensive civic education programme that has trained over 200 community mobilizers across six local government areas.

Under his leadership, CITADEL secured a partnership with the National Orientation Agency to deliver governance literacy workshops in Adamawa’s secondary schools, reaching over 15,000 students in the first year alone.

In early 2025, Jabir was selected as a delegate to the West African Youth Governance Forum in Accra, where he presented Nigeria’s community-led voter education model to representatives from 12 ECOWAS nations.

He has also been actively mentoring incoming LMI cohort members, serving as a resource person during orientation sessions.
